SBE were appointed to install and commission new A&E Majors and Paediatric Unit within a two storey building for The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust.

The facility consisted of nine majors bays with associated accommodation at ground floor, a school and play room, together with toilets and office accommodation at first floor level.  The facility also offered linkway corridors to the existing A&E at ground floor level and another to the children’s wards at first floor level.  An external escape staircase was provided to the building, providing a secondary means of escape for personnel within the first floor area.

SBE installed all lighting and power, with A/B circuits being installed throughout the project due to the critical nature of the job.
