James Chadwick Building

A refurbishment of an existing building, as part of the MECD development at the University of Manchester, The James Chadwick Building is a facility for the School of Engineering and Analytical Science.

Old laboratories have been converted to more modern wet labs, along with the refurbishment of general labs. More teaching space has been created which due to the nature of the install and the specification, allows for more flexible teaching areas.  A full new plant room was installed in what was previously an old teaching space.

SBE carried out the full electrical install throughout the refurbishment of the James Chadwick Building and the project was handed over to the client on time.
